Refined Insecurity

These are two previous mappings/drawings that I felt needed a minimal amount of revision because they seemed to work well visually. I did add the descriptions to the bottom to clarify the point I am trying to convey. I think these insecurity observations can be studied further and implemented into the design. One of the next steps may be to discover why certain places do not give the sense of insecurity.

Jeremy, I like these graphics and the write up on them. I like the new black and white graphic with the red showing the areas that create the insecurity especially. The only question/or statement is that it seems that you have moved from the Union Square scale to the Market Basket scale, are you planning on zoning in one more step to site 1? The black and white graphic seems a little, and just by a bit, still too zoomed out. I was hoping to see what the feeling of insecurity was like in between and behind the existing buildings on the site.
